About Us

[vc_mad_text_with_image image=”292″]The Nursery has been registered with the Local Educational Authority to deliver Early Education Entitlement for children who have their third birthday between 1st September and Easter the following year. This entitles the child to 10 hours funded Early Years Education for the terms following their third birthday. More information is available on application.

The children at Playland will be involved in a wide range of activities both indoors and outdoors. During the day children are divided into their own groups according to age or development. They will participate in a variety of planned activities that will cater for the needs of the children and develop essential pre-school skills.

We have a key worker system in each room whereby a qualified member of staff is assigned the task off assessing each child’s development throughout the nursery.

We are registered and inspected by CSSIW and Estyn, and are very proud of our inspection reports which you are able to view if you click on the links below

Staff

We have a very good and dedicated Team at Playland.

Most of them have been with us for many years, with a wealth of knowledge understanding, and qualifications to meet the needs of the children that we care for.

The Majority of our staff have children their our own, so we have a background of experience to call upon when needed, backed up by regular staff training in First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Child Protection, as well as attending many other training opportunities offed to us by the Local Authority , to develop and enhance our skills and knowledge
