About Us
The Nursery has four separate groups:-
- The Baby Room 0 to 16 months
- The Toddler Room 16 to 28 months
- Pre-School Room 28 months and above
- After School and Holiday Club 4 – 8 years
The Nursery has been registered with the Local Educational Authority to deliver Early Education Entitlement for children who have their third birthday between 1st September and Easter the following year. This entitles the child to 10 hours funded Early Years Education for the terms following their third birthday. More information is available on application.
The children at Playland will be involved in a wide range of activities both indoors and outdoors.
During the day children are divided into their own groups according to age or development. They will participate in a variety of planned activities that will cater for the needs of the children and develop essential pre-school skills.
We have a key worker system in each room whereby a qualified member of staff is assigned the
task off assessing each child’s development throughout the nursery.
